Ariana Madix is Chainkeengoing from Bravo to Broadway in 2024.
The “Vanderpump Rules” star will make her Broadway debut in “Chicago” this January. The news comes just after a successful stint as a finalist on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars.”
"It's just the biggest dream come true," she said on Live with Kelly and Mark Wednesday, hiding her face in excitement when announcing the news. "I cannot believe this is real life. I'm going to cry."
Madix, 38, told the hosts her “big dream” as a child was to be in theater, and she moved from her home state of Florida to New York after college, where she studied musical theater.
Madix will realize that dream as Roxie Hart, the main character of Broadway’s longest-running musical revival and the longest-running American musical in Broadway history. Madix will star in the role for a limited eight-week run starting Jan. 29.
Other stars who played the role of Roxie Hart include Brooke Shields, Pamela Anderson, Mel B, Brandy, Lisa Rinna, singer Michelle Williams, Rumer Willis and Rita Wilson. Renée Zellweger was Roxie in a 2002 film adaptation.
In March, a scandal involving infidelity between Madix's ex and "Vanderpump Rules" co-star Tom Sandoval ― and Madix's former close friend ― Rachel "Raquel" Leviss, rocked the Bravo show's cast.

On “DWTS,” Madix used the scandal as a motivator, placing third in Season 32 of the reality dancing competition.
When asked by pro partner Pasha Pashkov why she was competing on "DWTS," Madix said she wanted to stand on her own two feet, because "feeling like you were a joke to your partner of nine years is devastating. But I want to show other women none of that stuff has to hold you back."
